When Singing In Bath, Go Live In The Philippines.
This month’s Magical Moment takes us back to September 2023. Our very own Mr. & Mrs. (Stephen and Elizabeth) made the short trip across to Bath to perform in the mesmerizing Roman Baths and Pump Rooms as part of Aika and Tres’ wedding breakfast.
This wedding breakfast had an international flare as the wedding party were originally from the Philippines and many of the bride and groom’s friends and family had made the long journey to Bath for this stunning event. Our Singing Waiters, under the cover of disguise as waiting staff of the Pump Rooms, even got to meet the bride and groom prior to their entrance into the room. The adorable couple had no idea that the staff they were talking to were about to burst into song.
When Stephen and Elizabeth began to sing and surprise the guests, they could not have expected just how much excitement would erupt in the room from all the guests. After their performance, the team said that they felt like a popstar had just walked in the room, with the cheers and screams from the wedding party echoing in the room as they danced the night away. What they did not know until afterwards, was that a guest at the event was streaming their performance live to the Philippines, with thousands of people tuning in (early morning PST) to join in with Aika and Tres’ celebrations. Without a doubt our largest audience for a Singing Waiters to date.
