Singing Waiters at Plymouth venues

Plenty of party people join in with Singing Waiters at Plymouth venues

Every now and again we like to do a round up of the popular venues in a particular area. This time we have chosen to feature singing waiters at Plymouth venues.

Plymouth is one of our favourite towns for Singing Waiters, as there is such a variety of venues in this area. We hope this article and some of the others like it will help you when trying to chose a venue for your wedding or party.

Here are some of our favourites:

Kilter House Hotel, near Plymouth

Kitley-house-hotel-plymouth-400500 year old country house is set in the heart of the South Devon countryside making it the perfect destination for a relaxing and enjoyable break.

You can almost taste the potent sense of historic heritage as you make your way along the meandering drive through the grounds of the Kitley Estate. The quintessentially English landscape – with its 600 acres of rolling hills, woodland and lake – echoes the classic elegance of this extaordinary country house.

The listed Grade One building exudes a rich ambience, its 500 year long history echoed in the coats of arms, elborate fireplaces and flourishes of stained glass detail in the windows. Add high ceilings, extensive wooden panelling, a grand feature staircase, and you have a venue as a rich in atmosphere as it is in detail.

For many years Kitley has been recognised as a place of outstanding beauty and because of this has been featured on television and in many films.

Our singing waiters Simon and Adam loved this venue for its quirky rooms and beautiful views.

Boringdon Hall, Plymouth

Boringdon Hall Hotel PlymouthA Hotel in Devon with a Story to Tell…
The history of Boringdon Hall stretches back as far as the Doomsday Book, where one of the earliest mentions of a permanent construction was recorded. The name ‘Boringdon’ comes from the Saxon ‘Burth-Y-Don’ meaning ‘enchanted place on the hill.’ The grand Devonshire manor became crown property following the dissolution of the monasteries by Henry VIII in 1539. The monarch later granted the property to his courtier Thomas Wriothesley, the Earl of Southampton, who was a royal favourite.
Since then, Boringdon Hall has of course had a rather extravagant makeover, giving this stately pile a serious air of perfection, with devotedly designed interiors, 40 sumptuous rooms and suites, a well-stocked bar and two tantalising restaurants – the fine dining Gallery Restaurant, and the Great Hall where lighter bites and afternoon tea is served.

Singing Waiters Simon and Mike performed here last summer and Saxon feel to the venue.

St. Elizabeth’s House, Plymouth

Elizabeth House PlymouthSt Elizabeth’s House in South Devon is a celebration of luxury, style and service.

This Devon hotel combines contemporary, state-of-the-art features whilst retaining the Georgian manor’s traditional charm.

Situated in the historic village of Plympton St Maurice close to Plymouth and surrounded by 5 acres of sweeping lawns and beautifully landscaped gardens, St Elizabeth’s House offers an idyllic retreat from the stresses of busy lives.
